ABOUT US

Vicon represents a high-profile specialist in three segments: Fertiliser spreaders, bale equipment and forage harvesting.
It offers a broad range of products and services for effective solutions and quality products.
Being a high-profile specialist, Vicon offers dedicated products and services within forage harvesting equipment, soil cultivation, seeding systems, fertiliser spreaders and sprayers. In the past 100 years the Vicon brand has introduced a constant stream of ground breaking innovations and has a proud history of being first on the market with new concepts. Since the world wide success of early innovations like the ”finger wheel” rake and pendulum type fertilizer spreader, the distinctive Vicon logo has been known as a quality brand embracing a wide range of high performance equipment.

In Australia, Vicon is supported by PFG Australia Pty Limited

PFG Australia is a fully independent and privately-owned group of companies, who have a three-generation history of serving the New Zealand and Australian tractor and machinery markets. In 2017, PFG expanded its international footprint by securing the exclusive distribution rights to Deutz-Fahr tractors in the USA.

PFG now operates as three main trading groups:

  •          Power Farming New Zealand – wholesale and retail distribution
  •          PFG Australia – wholesale distribution
  •          PFG America - wholesale distribution

Collectively, these operations generate an annual turnover of approximately $350m and employ 380 people.

PFG sources leading tractor and agricultural machinery brands from around the world and distributes them through extensive dealer networks in all three countries. Without exception, the brands concerned are best-in-class products incorporating the latest in technology and design.

The various local markets are served from strategically located distribution hubs in Yatala (Queensland), Melbourne (Victoria), Christchurch (NZ), Morrinsville (NZ), Fresno (California) and Atlanta (Georgia).

In New Zealand, the company owns, either in whole or in partnership with a local operator, an extensive nationwide network of eighteen dealerships.
